In an older horse, the DMG could be effective if it is working on secondary, compensatory issues to primary problems that may be arthritic in nature. The primary problem is making the horse carry himself differently, overworking or straining muscles. However, this study raised doubts about dimethylglycines effectiveness due to an unbalanced design used. 4 found no differences in muscle lactate concentrations in horses treated with dimethylglycine and horses receiving placebo. In trained athletes, Pipes 5 noted a 23,6% increase in time to fatigue after DMG supplementation.

Description
Pangamic Acid (Vitamin B15) is an antioxidant and prevents the formation of destructive superoxide radicals. It is also an antipollutant which eliminates environmental toxins from the body. Being a lipotropic substance, it lowers cholesterol levels and prevents fat accumulation in the liver. A deficiency of pangamic acid can cause reduced oxygenation of the blood, leading to fatigue and lowered fitness.
Pangamic Acid (Vitamin B15) is used for improving exercise endurance, improving the oxygenation of the heart, brain, and other vital organs, treating asthma and related diseases, lung problems, painful nerve and joint conditions, arthritis, skin conditions including eczema, cancer and detoxifying the body. Vitamin B15 (Pangamic Acid) is also used for treating fatigue, extending cell life, strengthening the immune system and assisting in hormone regulation.
